Adrian Ross is Australia’s “Premier Indigenous Didgeridoo Performer”, his mixture of traditional Australian indigenous music along with the contemporary feel of rhythm & dance is wooing crowds all over the world.
He comes from the Moonahcullah community in Southern New South Wales, Australia. His father is from the Wamba Wamba tribe while his mother is from the Mutti Mutti tribe. He grew up in the town of Deniliquin, moving to Queensland when he was 19.
This laid back ‘Aussie’ guy is literally blasting his way to the top of his field with his expert live performances incorporating his music with an awe inspiring communication that puts a new perspective on the ‘way forward’ for our nation.
Adrian has performed alongside some of Australia’s leading artists such as James Morrison, Marina Prior, Leah Purcell, Graham Connors, Bardot, Taxi Ride, John Paul Young, David Campbell, John Stevenson, Adam Brand etc.. These performances included the Honda Indy 300, Goodwill Games Opening Gala, NRL Grand Final, the Olympic Soccer Opening at the 2000 Olympic Games, Darling Harbour Christmas Pagent, and the Sydney Opera House for Corroboree 2000 and the BBC Television production “Songs of Praise”.
He has toured extensively in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Canada, South Africa and the United States. As well as playing at concerts, festivals and functions, Adrian conducts workshops and performs in schools to educate people about the didgeridoo and Australian Indigenous culture.
He continues to be invited by the best in Australian Production companies to be involved in large corporate events around the globe and has been approached by distribution companies in Europe regarding his product. Adrian is set to truly become an internationally renowned artist. Adrian’s passion for his music, is only surpassed by his deep seeded passion for his family.
His latest album release ‘Shake A Leg’ is set to surpass all of his previous releases. A blend of Didgeridoo with fresh, new sounds and movements has created a whole new dance style from the roots of Indigenous Australia. Audiences around the world will be enticed onto the dance floor by this quality entertainer.
